For the Police

MINISTRY - PRAYER

FOR THE POLICE

DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN, HEAVENLY FATHER, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, WE JOIN WITH OUR UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICERS IN PRAYER ASKING FOR YOUR MERCY, WISDOM, PATIENCE, AND GRACE OVER THEM AND THEIR LIVES AND WHERE EVER THEY MAY BE.

WE ASK THAT THEIR ANGLES YOU HAVE ASSIGNED TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM, HEAR YOUR WORD VOICED FROM OUR MOUTHS, FOR THEY ARE YOUR MINISTERS ALSO. Rom 13:1-5 " Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. " Psalm 103:20
GRANT THEM DIVINE PROTECTION AND LIFE AS WE SET OURSELVES IN AGREEMENT. " Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. " Matthew 18:19

FOR UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICERS TO HOLD AND VALUE ALL HUMAN LIFE AS HIGHLY PRIZED OF GOD WHO HAS ORDAINED THEM TO THE MINISTRY AS OFFICERS OF THE LAW WITH POWER CARRY OUT THEIR DUTIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF GODLY EARTHLY LAW.
KNOWING THAT GOD LOVES THEM AS HE LOVES ALL MANKIND.
KNOWING THAT THEY MUST ALSO ANSWER TO YOU AS THE HIGHEST OF POWERS.

GRANT THEM GREAT WISDOM AND PATIENCE AS THEY CARRY OUT THEIR ASSIGNED DUTIES.
GRANT THEM THE POWER TO CORRECTLY ASSESS THE SITUATION THAT THEY FIND THEMSELVES AND OTHERS IN BRINGING ABOUT WISE ACTIONS AND CONCLUSIONS.

CAUSE THEM TO REMEMBER THE RIGHTEOUS AND MERCIFUL CAUSE THEY ARE TO MAINTAIN AND ENFORCE. FOR THEIR ASSIGNMENT IS NOT AND EASY OCCUPATION. THEY ALSO NEED DIVINE PROTECTION.

BRING TO THEIR REMEMBERING THAT CIVIL AUTHORITIES MUST REMAIN CIVIL TO THOSE IT SERVES.

FOR YOU SENT JESUS THAT WE ALL MIGHT HAVE LIFE AND LIVE, AND JESUS SAID " The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows). " John 10:10

BRING THEM SAFELY FROM THE NEW BATTLE FIELD (The streets and towns of our cities) IN PEACE AND SAFETY.

KEEP THEM FROM FEAR'S TORMENT AND COMFORT THEM WITH YOUR WORD CONCERNING FEAR " Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. " Isaiah 41:10 & Isaiah 41:13 .

WE PRAY THAT YOU WATCH OVER THEIR FAMILIES AND LOVED ONES WHILE THEY ARE AWAY FROM HOME.

KEEP THEIR MINDS FROM THE TERROR'S OF CRIME THAT THEY SEE AND EXPERIENCE "You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. " Isaiah 26:3

AND FOR THOSE THAT ARE BELIEVERS IN CHRIST JESUS:
REMIND THEM OF YOUR PEACE " Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid ". (* John 14:27 ) ALL OF THIS AND MORE " Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, "Ephesians 3:20

REMIND THEM OF YOUR CONSTANT PRESENCE IN AND WITH THEM.
REMIND AND EMBOLD THEM TO SHARE YOU AND YOUR LOVE AMONG THEIR FELLOW OFFICERS.
